The ACZ8 has a built-in memory to store the last tested results for later viewing. It can be connected to any PC via USB cable for printing. You can key in the test date, customer name, car number or battery reference number, battery model and capacity to the report. You can add-on your Company name, address and contact number to the report as well. This Analyser is a new way of measuring the Cold Cranking Amps (CCA) of a Starting Battery and it test a wide variety of 12V batteries: Wet (Flooded), VRLA or Maintenance Free (MF), Sealed Maintenance Free (SMF), Absorption Glass Mat (AGM) and GEL cell.
New Technology:
This Analyzer uses the battery internal resistance gathered during testing to compute the final results of the battery condition. This process involve by a series of shorting pulse across the battery terminals with resulting drop in the voltage being measured by the microprocessors to compute its final results.
The ACZ8 is designed to perform the following tasks:
1. Battery Test:
a. Test results on battery conditions : Either Good or Replace
b. Battery state of charge: Digital display in Volts
c. Key in actual battery rating (CCA or SAE, DIN, EN, IEC, JIS) before test for better accuracy.
d. Battery cell resistance measurement : Display in m ohm e. Battery Life Expectancy: Display in percentage (%).

2. Grounding Test:
Quick and Easy checking of engine and chassis ground with display of results and recommendations after test.

3. Starter Test:
a. Quick and Easy cranking test to determine the battery cranking power and results will be displayed after test.
b. From the test results given, you can determine whether the battery has aged, bad connections or starter problems.

4. Alternator Test:
a. Check the charging conditions of the alternator during electrical loading @ 2,000 rpm and without electrical load @ 3,000 rpm. with results and recommendations display after test.

In the event that you need assistance, the "HELP" key will display information about each function when selected.
